Scooter Rental in Uluwatu with Surf Racks and Villa Delivery

Scooter Rental in Uluwatu and the Bukit Peninsula

Bikago delivers rental scooters and motorbikes across Uluwatu and the Bukit Peninsula, including Bingin, Padang Padang, Pecatu, Suluban, Balangan and Ungasan. Beaches and cliff-top cafés here are spread out along steep roads with no public transport, and taxis between them add up quickly, so a scooter is the practical way to get around. Bikago has no shop in Uluwatu: every bike is delivered to your villa, hotel or surf camp anywhere on the Bukit, and the same 24/7 roadside assistance covers the whole area.

Every rental includes up to two helmets, a mounted phone holder, a first aid kit and 24/7 English-speaking roadside help. We deliver to your villa, hotel or surf camp and collect the bike at the end; delivery and collection are free on rentals of 3 days or more, and shorter bookings cost USD 5 per delivery or collection.

For one rider, the Honda Vario 160 ABS handles the Bukit’s hills well. If you ride two-up or carry a board every day, the Honda ADV 160 ABS or Yamaha NMax gives more comfort on the climbs back up from the beaches. For surfers, choose a scooter from the surf-rack category.

Riding a Scooter in Uluwatu: What to Know

Most roads on the Bukit are paved but steep, especially the access roads down to Bingin, Padang Padang and Suluban, where you usually park at the top of the cliff. Beach car parks often have an attendant who may ask for a small fee of a few thousand rupiah. Jalan Raya Uluwatu gets busy around sunset, when traffic heads to Uluwatu Temple and the cliff-top bars.

From Uluwatu it takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes to Jimbaran, 45 minutes to an hour to the airport, and about an hour to Seminyak or Canggu, depending on traffic. One Bikago rental covers all of mainland Bali, so you can also ride north to Canggu or Ubud, or arrange your bike at Bali airport on arrival.

You need a valid driving licence and an International Driving Permit with a motorcycle endorsement, and you and your passenger must always wear a helmet. If you do not have an IDP yet, Bikago can help you apply online.
